Visit to Nursing Home

Last December 15, 2014, the ELL Student Leadership Class went to visit ABBA Care Nursing Home. The students from B3 and B4 brought stuffed toys to give as gifts for the elderly.  Each class also practiced and performed to give joy to the residents.  B3 danced and sang Jingle Bell Rock and Feliz Navidad, and B4 gave an interpretation of Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  The last activity they did was to play Bingo with the residents, and the students awarded them with prizes.  The students had a great experience, and a lot of them wanted to stay and go back in order to visit the people they got to know.  It was a great way to end the semester for the leaders.
