Hearts for the Staff

To show appreciation for the teachers and staff of South Garland High School, the ELL Leadership Students created hand-made heart cards for their teachers.  The cards had some quotes about love. The students also brought some chocolates that they attached to the heart cards.  The students hand delivered some of the cards on February 13th while some cards were placed in teacher's boxes.  The project leaders, Martha Torres and Marina Barrios really worked hard on making this a success.  The whole class and the officers did their very best to support this endeavor.  All in all, it was a great day of spreading love through effort and hard work.

National Counseling Week

Last February 2-6, 2015, student leaders showed appreciation for the Counselors during the National Counseling Week.  The leaders made cards and bookmarks for their counselors, and they wrote messages to show their appreciation for them.
